Gh4 with stock olympus lenses
 

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a GH4 with 12 35 lens. I do have two Olympus lenses which came as a kit set with a e400. They are 14-42 and 40-150. Will these lenses be of any use on the GH4?

I have the 40-150mm 2,8 olympus lens - works fine on the GH4

The e400 is a 4/3rds mount camera. Those lenses won't directly fit on the GH4. You would need a 4/3 to m4/3 adaptor to get them to work. I have no personal experience with those adaptors, but I've heard they are not particularly fast for autofocus.

All Olympus m.Zuiko lenses are for the micro 4/3rds mount and will work with the GH4.

Thanks got the GH4 with the 14-140. And tried the Olympus but you're right they don't fit.
