GH4 and Canon FD Lenses?

Hi all just wondering if anyone is using this combination and with what lenses and do they recommend it?

Any info would be appreciated

Kind regards
Andy

I have a 50mm f/1.4 FDn. It's nice for a film look, but it's nowhere near as sharp as the newer m4/3 lenses.

That is also my experience. Unless you are going for the softer look I would stick with Panasonic or Olympus m4/3 lenses. I noticed a unpleasing color shift in my experiments with FD lenses on the GH4.

Voitlander and Rokinon are great native options, too.

I have a range of FD prime lenses and love the look. I've used them on the GH2 & GH4 and they are my 1st choice unless I need a zoom lens.

Cheers gents for the info, I've been after a fast short lens (on a very tight budget) for filming my mates band gig, For the sake of £100.00 for a couple of FD lenses plus the converter of course though it might be worth a punt :-)

Patrick the 50 mm 1.4 was one of the lenses I was looking at :-)

For your purposes I'm sure it'll work fine.
