New topic for AG-HMC151 ?

Although I don't believe that its out yet, this camera doesn't seem to fit into any of the current topics since it does not record to P2. I suppose it could be considered a varient of HDV. It sounds interesting, but I have two concerns. First, it appears to record 4:2:0 video, which unless this has improved, is markedly inferior to the 4:2:2 color space of the HVX/HPX cameras, and secondly, it records in AVCHD. Someone elsewhere called this AVC-Intra, but I don't believe that these two methods are the same.

Where have you been? We've got an entire forum for it:

Panasonic AVCCAM Camcorders - The Digital Video Information Network

(and no, AVCHD is *not* considered a variant of HDV)

Please direct any replies to that specific forum -- thanks in advance,
