HPX300 viewfinder at DVinfo.net

Hi all, I am curious to know how the 300's "HD" vf compares to the standard one on the 500.

Yes, I know exactly how bad the 500's vf is.

The 300 viewfinder is leagues better than the VF on the 500, it is much higher resolution. I found the 300 VF to be very usable, clear and a pleasure to use. It is not perfect, I found it a little small but it is razor sharp and makes focusing a breeze. You can read about it in this article Production Diary - Panasonic AG-HPX300
