Bayonet Mount Lens for HVX?
Please forgive my ignorance, but I need the benefit of someone else's' knowledge/experience.
Am considering getting a full-zoom-through W/A adapter (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/652927-REG/16x9_Inc__169_HDWC8X_HVX_169_HDWC8X_HVX_EXII_0_8x_Wide.html) for my AG-HVX200P...NOT a 200A, but the one I'm leaning towards comes in a bayonet mount. I've only dealt with screw-on filters for the HVX. How can it accommodate a bayonet mount? Does it fit in the grooves/slots for the lens shade? Or do I need to buy an additional piece of hardware? And will this work with the 200P? Input/feedback appreciated. |
Re: Bayonet Mount Lens for HVX?
Yes, the bayonet is the stock lens hood attachment. Far, far quicker and easier than a screw mount.
FWIW, I was never pleased with the effect of a .8x, simply because of how minimal the difference is. Even though it's not zoom-through, I prefer my .6x wide angle adapter. It's effective enough within the ranges of situations where I'd use it. |
