All this action on the H1 Board...
 

makes me long for the days of talk on the DVX200.

I keep reading everything daily and hourly on the Canon H1. I admit I was waiting for Canon's HD camera and I thought it would be hands down the winner in my eyes.

But I have to admit. I love the DVX200. Truly Progressive CCDs. Variable Frame rates. The DVCPro50 and DVCProHD codecs. And with Firestore's announcement about the FS-100 DTE, I've pretty much fallen in love with it. The DVX200 with the Firestore FS-100 for under the price of the H1. That sounds like what i want to do. I know all those won't be available right away, but still. Now if we could only start seeing images from these camera so we can really start talking!

Just thought I'd show a little love for the Panny since all I'm hearing now is H1 talk.
