What does the hour meter consider hours?
 

Just checked the hour meter on my camera and was wondering what the hour meter considers hours. Obviously tape recording, but does it count tape playback? Does it count P2 use as well P2 recording? Just sitting in the "on" position?

Hello Dylan,

The hour meter in the HVX200 times how long the tape is against the heads which includes Playback, Recording, Searching back and forth and REW and FF. It doesn't count the P2 recording.
