It's Canon J13x9B.
I don't know, but it's looking and feeling good so far.
I will do little more test and post some clips.
People who are waiting for Canon CAC HD lens might get away with some SD lens laying around until CAC lens start shipping.

I've put recent model J-series Canons on the XDCAM HD cameras and they've been excellent, in cases better than the lower-end 1/2" lenses that were introduced with the camera.

But then again, some might expect that from a $20k lens vs. a $7k lens.

Hey Nate,

Well, if people have the lens lying around then no extra cost, so.

I heard from my contact at Canon broadcast lens dealer that CNC Canon lense delivery changed and they are coming out soon.

Would be most interested to see any stills or footage from this shoot, as I am considering the 500 and a quality used SD lens for the short term, HD lens as budget and future HD projects permit.

Liz,

I will. That is exactly why I posted this thread and I want to do justice to the combination :). So far, so good.
