"Brother and Sister" Shot with Canon 500D

Hi
Me and two of my friends made a film for a 24h filmcompetion in
sweden called Noomarton. I really like how the 500D preformed.
And Im exited to get the 7D next week.
Our movie got second prize.

check out the movie at:

I want that bowl of soup!

Dang, that looked good.

You achieved a very smooth look and professional looking project with the 500D. By now you have the 7D and if you kept the 500D it has taken a back seat for awhile.

Originally I was going to sell mine off to help finance the 7D but in the end decided to keep it as it can be a fair "backup" and also much lighter to use as a "runaround" piece of gear.

A great piece of work, I liked it.

Can be a good idea..

We shot the film on Anders Bäckmans 500D and he will be keeping his as a
backup to the 7D.
I sold my 500D a while ago and ordered a 7D,
the next camera I get will be the next full videocamera
with dslr from Canon.

Very nice work, Emil. I really enjoyed it - simple but affective.

The only thing missing for me was sound instead of just a music track.

The fun thing about the soup was that it was not made to be eaten, just
to look good:) The place where it was filmed serves really good food.
