How do they light "Six Feet Under"?

Anybody know? I love trying to figure out where the lights are every time I watch a movie, but this show really has me stumped, especially this last season. Every scene looks so natural!

Do you know of a site that has pictures of this series so we can
take a look?

Here is a link to an article that will give you some answers.

I worked on the first couple of episodes of the 1st season of "Six Feet Under", before Alan Caso came on board. He does a beautiful job with the lighting. I think he excels at recreating the look of the So. California sun streaming in the windows of the kitchen, Rachel Griffith's character's apartment etc. This being all on stage, of course...!

Hard to describe any individual technique. It's just one light at a time, in the right place.

Those kitchen shots are all done on a soundstage?! I'm more impressed than ever.
