Question about softbox for V-Light

Anyone know of a softbox that can be used on a Lowel V-light? Preferably under $150.

For almost no cost, you can use an umbrella with a V-Light or bounce it off a piece of foam core.

Chimera makes a speed ring for the V-Light:

But then you need a soft box to go with it:

This comes to close to $250.

I think it would be better to use the V-Light with an umbrella (or bounce off of foam core.). Unless the softbox has grids, the umbrella will give you a similar result, at almost no cost.

Also, the speed rings and soft boxes on broad lights are a small project to set up. I have a speed ring and a Photoflex box (long and narrow) I use with a Tota light. It works well, but it is time consuming to get put together.

I have a couple of Rifa lights that setup up in a minute. For a straight soft box I really like these and believe they are worth paying for.

Put the $250 toward something like the Lowel Rifa 55:

Which is 500 watts and about $450.
Or even the Lowel Rifa EX 44 (250 watts) for $313:

But perhaps there is a less expensive soft box option for the V-light that I don't know about.

Thanks for the advice!

you can also use the photoflex speed ring for the tota with the v-light. the speed ring and a small photoflex silverdome will run you about $200 at b&h, $250 with the medium silverdome. umbrellas are good in a pinch, but the spill can be tough to handle when you need controlled lighting.
