My DIY Gridspot (pics)

Hi,

Just thought I'd share these. Did a gridspot earlier and I'm quite pleased with the results, given the cost and the expectations I've had in the first place. It's made of a piece of cardboard, a can of Yellow Cab ice cream (bottom cut with a can opener) and the pipe used to hang light drapes on. Painted with flat black to keep reflections to a minimum. Isn't that cheap? And got to eat that ice cream as well, what a treat.

This design works with a cold light and not the hot tungsten floodlights (remember, safety first).

You can see the finished product and a few samples.
