Re: Cheap Lighting kit for documentary interviews?

i'm interested in reviving this post.

are folks still liking the use of flo lamps in softboxes?

has that liking been replaced by leds?

i have both the rifa lc66 and the starlight ql series.

i'm thinking of buying adapters for those fixtures which would allow the use of a mogul base flo lamp.

for the starlight the coolstar 150:

Photoflex StarLite CoolStar 150 Fluorescent Lamp.

for the rifa:

Lowel - 80W/220V Daylight Fluorescent Lamp

thoughts on the above?

lastly, perrone ford was kind enough to mention earlier in this thread that he bought flo lamps from home depot. does anyone know the brand? cri/temp? mogul based?

thanks in advance to those who care to share.

be well
