Arri lighting kit voltage Query

I recently bought a 3 head Arri fresnel lighting kit from the UK, the kit has 240v lights and the blubs are also 240v, the voltage here in ireland is 220 volts, will the lamps work here, if not what can i do?

Yes it works. Voltages for different countries have ranges like in the USA 110v to 130v and most other countries of the world 220v to 240v. Usually about a 20v spread in the range to make up for differences due to the inherent inaccuracies of power generation and distribution.
