Shooting at night under stadium lighting

Help.

I've got an assignment to shoot a sporting event in the evening under stadium lighting. I've never shot under artifical light before. Is there something I should do to guarantee success? I'll be using my Sony DV2100 probably from the press box area.

Thanks.

Steve

If you meant to say your camera was a VX2100, then you are in good shape, in fact you have one of the best cameras there is for low light.

I shoot high school football with a VX2000 and a PD170 and both of those cameras can see better in low light than my own eyes.

Mike.

Thanks Mike. Yes, I meant to type VX2100. I appreciate the response.

Manual white balance and then recognize that you may have to do more in post if the stadium has those terrible metal halide lights.
