On Camera lights

I recently read about a new "led" type of light that can be used on miniDV and DVcam cameras. It was expensive but a great alternative. It was sold as a single unit for around $6-800 and as a complete kit for around $2,000. Can anyone help me to remember the name and manufacturer of that light?

Those are called LitePanels.

Thay are really well designed and output a decent amount of light. I hear that they need additional diffusion to really work as a good soft source.

LitePanels

Thanks, Matt,
I went out of town shortly after sending out my emai, wishing the whole trip that I had one of these lights. I knew I had seen them but could not remember their name. You solved the mystery.

Has anyone out there had any actual experience using the LitePanels? They sound very useful, but seem very, very pricey.

Mickey
