Lighting types and GL2 shutter speed...

I am having trouble finding information about how different types of light affect your Digital Videos. I am looking for the correct shutter speeds, with the GL2, to match to the types of light source. Is there a chart or some kind of table ?
Any help or suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you

For all general shooting, stick to the default 1/50th (1/60th NTSC) shutter speed. If you increase the speed beyond about 1/200th sec, your images will start to look stuttery, as so little of the original scene was recorded to tape. If you go below the default you'll lose resolution and get image smear.

Both of these can look pretty good at times though - so don't be afraid to experiment. The beauty of video is that it's a fast, accurate, cheap and repeatable teacher.
