Adding a hint of blue

I am wanting to shoot an early morning scene in which a person sits on the edge of their bed. I am looking or a hint of blue, nothing drastic, but a very naturally lit scene. I have one window in the room. What would be the best way to light that scene?

is this pre-sunrise, post sunrise, or during sunrise?

When you say early morning with a 'hint of blue' .. Im thinking REALLY early morning, where the sky is holding a dark blue, and is just starting to lighten up.

Where are you specifically with this 'time' thing?

I am looking for a pre sunrise look. I want a deep rich blue that almost looks artificial, but I hope that with the tone that I want to set I can get it right. But the exact time is not known, but I am thinking before the sun actually starts showing itself over the horizon, you can tell that sunrise is coming and can almost count the minutes gone by according to how much the sun has risen. If you have see the Royal Tenenbaums, the part where Richie tries to kill himself. That look but maybe a little bluer.
