Flolight Microbeam 256 vs Neewer CN-304

Well, not the Flolight version, the Digital Juice version, same thing, see link below.

Digital Juice MiniBurst 256 LED Portable DJ.MINIBURST.256.LED

The good. It spits out pure 5300k light unfiltered, with no green or magenta cast. It has a 1/4"-20 hole on top and bottom.

The bad. It's extremely DIM. It has 256 LED's, yet pumps out LESS light output than my old $30 Neewer CN-160. I bought this in a three light kit, and even put 2 of the 256's together, and BOTH on at the same time put out LESS light output than my $60 Neewer CN-304. The Minibeam/Microburst things don't have a battery gauge either.

Yes, 512 of those LED's are less light output than 304 Neewer LED's. 10X the cost, less than 1/10th the light output. The Neewer CTO produces 3800k/magenta. The Miniburst CTO produces 3000k/green. Testing was done with stock DJ CTO, and custom 3200k CTO on the Neewer.
