Dracast vs Litepanels

Looking at pulling the trigger on an LED package. Looking mostly at the Dracast 1000 series panels and their 7 inch fresnel LEDs, vs the Litepanels Astra EP panels and their 6 inch fresnels.

Any thoughts?

I'm considering buying some LEDs for an interview kit. I have a Lowel hair light, but may add some LEDs for the interview portion. Keep us updated. I really don't want to drop 1k on the lights if I can help it.

You don't want to invest $1K in lighting??? Are you a pro or not? I don't think you could put together a decent LED light kit for under $3K. Honestly, you really need to set your sights higher if you are going to get into LED lighting, otherwise you'd be better off sticking with a simple tungsten kit.

I own all of the lights in Paul's kit and that would be a great starter package, especially if portability and battery operation is a benefit to you.
