Nicely done on both videos. Keep them going during the 'lean' months. I have to say that a bi-color LED does come in handy when I've got rooms with mixed lighting that I just want to supplement. Some units allow you to dial in the exact color temp between 3200 and 5600. And few rooms I've worked in are actually at 3200 or 5600. That being said, more power is always my first option.

Here's my problem with bi-colors. (i probably should have put it in the video, but i just talk unscripted and probably leap over all kinds of stuff.)

If you are trying to match daylight or tungsten, the daylight is ALWAYS way brighter - a window, a skylight, etc. You need all the grunt you can to fight daylight. If you need tunsten, you can get away with a lot less, so a bright daylight fixture with a couple different levels of CT gives you all the same color range (maybe not to the same degree, but close enough) in the tungsten spectrum, while giving you twice the power to fight the sun. That seems *way* more useful to me than having an easy dial but only 1/2 the power. Gels are easy and fast, but not having enough punch is horrible!

My 2c anyways. if you get enough kick out of your bicolors, then you win!
