Lighting Plan Confirmation

Ok, conference room, day, some windows at one end of slightly rectangular room, about 25X35 (windows through 25 foot end). My plan is to shoot 2 people across from each other at the table, 2 cameras shooting away from windows with either profiles or OTS. Two 500W softboxes and two 250W photofloods, all 4 are 3400K. Will balance both cameras to white based on said lights, leaving flourescents off. Will be cloudy day (forecast at least) so hoping no temp problem with sunlight.

So far ok?

One problem is figuring out where to put the fills without them being in the shot (either profile or OTS, although the OTS will be easier because closer shot). So what does one do to solve the fill problem when shooting the profile shot of both actors? No fill?

As always, thanks in advance for the help.

its not the sun you're worried about in balancing, its just daylight in general...this is true even in overcast lighting...you may need to put ctb on the lights to hold balance!

Thanks Casey -- I assume, theoretically, if the contribution of daylight is small relative to the other lights I won't have much of a problem?

you may not have much of a problem, if the windows are small and not contributing much...not knowing the room and its layout, and ofcourse, the table/people distance from the windows its hard to say. you may have to do the set up and see what you're dealing with through the camera lens...just plan accordingly and have a couple ctb gels on hand just in case.

And in regards to your other question...draw up a quick diagram of the room and action, and where you'll be placing the cameras...much easier to place lights if we see it visually.
