Re: Sigma 50-150 f2.8 Nikon Mt
I actually returned it to the guy I bought it from because he had a 30 day return policy. I use the new version often. Last night in fact.

What makes you prefer the newer version over the older one?

Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II
I am selling a Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II that I purchased two weeks ago. With out IS I just can't use this great lens for my work. I only tested it one evening and can not return it since I sent the UPC code in off the box. So I will take that off the price plus a little more to make a quick sale.
Here it is at B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/843008-USA/Canon_5175B002_EF_24_70mm_f_2_8L_II.html Price $1,800 you pay insured shipping I pay paypal fee. |

Re: Sigma 50-150 f2.8 Nikon Mt
Old one was a very nice budget lens, but the new one is a different animal altogether. Much bigger and simply great glass. It is incredibly sharp all the way through the zoom and when wide open. There is also almost no longitudinal chromatic aberration (purple and magenta edging on high contrasty areas just before and after the focus point.) That Chromatic aberration is on every still camera lens I've seen so far and its quite minimal on the sigma. The older lens definitely had more aberration. I read somewhere that it was just as sharp as a 100mm Canon L Prime.
My only issues are that the zoom ring is in the front not the middle and the focus ring turns opposite from Nikon, so I find it a bit confusing. |

LanParte A-B Hard Stop Follow Focus
LanParte FF-02 - A-B Hard Stop Follow Focus
Bought a year ago and used sparingly. Has quick release rail mount and A/B hard stops. Dry erase marking ring and the gear can switch from front to rear mounting positions. VERY smooth and no backlash. Great piece of kit but I don't use it enough to keep it. $300 shipped US. PayPal fees on me. Good condition with a few marks in the paint where the hard stops are. Please note the photo is a stock image for reference. If interested I can put up photos of my copy. |

Re: Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II
I have taken the $300 rebate plus an additional $200 off the lens, and know one is interested?

Good to know. I'm still trying to undo 30 years of muscle memory every time I use a Nikon lens on my F3.

Re: Clip on Matte Box
I had a chance to use a Bright Tangerine clip on matte box on a shoot this week. All carbon fibery and very light. It had a quite large opening. Might be worth looking into.

Re: Clip on Matte Box
HI Bill,
Thanks for the input. I just sent them an email to see if it covers full 4K at 11mm. It does look like a first class option, and it it works I think I would buy a 2 stage. |
