Droidworx heavy-lift Oktocopter

I am selling a brand new oktokopter cinematography platform - see details below:

Aeronavics (Droidworx) SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR Heavy Lift Ready to Fly Package:

This is a coaxial arrangement oktokopter giving a smaller footprint and better stability in turbulent conditions than a flat 8 arrangement.

The SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR Heavy Lift is capable of carrying a payload like the Red Epic camera and C300 (stripped down) Black Magic , Nikon D4 and the Canon 5D with Heavy Prime lens.

With the 8 motor configuration this offers greater lift and stability in the air which broadcasters and videographers crave for when carrying out video work.

This rig was professionally built and has tested faultlessly for 14 hours.

Package includes:

Droidworks SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR airframe

Rectractable undercarriage

8 x t-motor U5 400rpm heavy lift motors

10 x T-motor carbon fibre-pro 15x5 propellers (4l, 4R, and two spares)

DJI Wookong M flight controller

Telemetry overlay from DJI osd

DJI Ground Station module

Assorted spares from droidworks construction

6x desire power 10,400 mAh lipo batteries (optional extras at £100 per battery)

Price: £7,000 inc vat call me on +44 (0) 7824 323183 or email geofftompkinson@usa.net

Mark Roberts Motion Control SFH-30

I am selling a Mark Roberts Motion Control pan/tilt head SFH-30 with added focus motor and a selection of lens rings, added dolly motor with 10m tooth belt. The unit can be controlled via the included joystick control unit or via an ethernet connection from the included mini laptop installed with Flair control software. Used mainly for repeatable video moves, the unit is also perfect for stop motion animation and advanced timelapse moves.

It comes with mains electricity power supply and all cables, including Canon 5d style shutter cable (you can get alternatives from Mrmoco).

The unit can be easily powered in the field with a power gorilla battery - which can also be used to power the included laptop.

This is a proper motion control rig with precisely repeatable moves suitable for green screen work etc. The retail price of this set-up, without the added laptop and several other extras I will be throwing in, is around UK £14,000

This Unit has been in my possession for several years but has seldom been used as my focus has been on other types of shot.

I am offering the whole lot for UK £5,000

Contact me if you are interested - geofftompkinson@usa.net or +44 7824 323183

Vince, yes we do. The G10 was just for wide unmanned aisle shots for ceremonies we only had 2 staff covering.

Re: Sony 64gb SxS-1 cards

Sony isn't shipping the new XAVC codec yet but at bitrates of 100Mbps and 50Mbps, the XAVC bitrates are significantly below the 240Mbps guaranteed write speed of the SxS-1 cards.

Re: Sony 64gb SxS-1 cards

Thanks Shaun,

Understand the bit rates, just want to make sure there is not some other reason I would have to go Pro +. I will check with my Sony connection.

Just checked, agree they should be fine.

PM sent

Re: Sony 64gb SxS-1 cards

Thanks Andy that is what I found online. Too bad the SxS-1 cards don't come in 128GB.
