Recommend a "How To Shoot" Tutorial Book Please

Hello, what tutorial books would you recommend for a beginner/intermediate student that wants to begin shooting?
The book/textbook should cover techniques on how to shoot.

Thank you in advance.

I'm not at all sure of what you mean by, "How to shoot". But this section is devoted to book recommendations and discussions. Browse here for some suggestions.

I have read a couple of really good books that talk about direction and shot composition, take a look at them if you can, Amazon has good reviews and even some content.

Film Directing Shot by Shot, visualizing from concept to screen.
by Steven Katz.

The five C's of Cinematography, by Joseph Mascelli.

you can't go wrong with them

Oops. I created this thread in another forum, not knowing that this subforum existed. Thanks to the mod for redirecting me here.

Try this website: http://www.dvcreators.net/products/

I've seen their dvd called DV Enlightenment and it was very professional and informative. They have a couple of other products on "shooting awesome video." Check it out.

Thank you for the link Scott. I've borrowed several books that other members here in DVInfo have recommended. Great resource!
