Thanks for reminding us about your book, Dan!

Our own camera support forum has grown so large, I suppose we should break it down into sub-groups including one for cranes.

New edition? Well yes and no. If you're talking about the 2nd edition of Volume I, it is due from the printers in december. If you're talking about Killer Camera Rigs Volume II, nope that's not done yet. People keep suggesting rigs, and I keep trying to design them. I'll have to stop doing that, because it's becoming another monster. I'm simply not sure when it will be available. Things are pretty overwhelming around here at the moments with the 2nd mention in MacWorld Magazine.

I was talking about Volume II, but your basically saying it is
unknown when it comes out? Is there any chance between the
first and second edition of Volume I? If so I'll probably wait till
December then and get that.

Thanks!

Hi Rob,

Volume I, second edition will arrive from the printers in December. (Frankly, there's not much difference between the 1st and 2nd edition of Volume I unless you live outside the U.S. or Canada) I'm hoping to finish Volume 2 early next year.

As you can see I'm in Holland, so yeah, that's outside US/Canada,
so I'll definitely wait for it then. Thanks!

Ah, I missed your location. Yes, I'm sure you'll appreciate the fact that I've added metric to all of the measurements in the book!
