Re: How much to charge to film 40 interviews?

"The interview can take an hour and I may have to come back for 40 setups."

This is the sentence that would give me pause. If I was bidding on this I would start my bid at the worst case...

Re: Got my C100 Wow nice...

Hmmm, the screen grab looks fine.

Just FYI I'm looking at this on a PC in Premiere 5.5 (must find time to upgrade) in a 29.97p sequence displaying at 1080p on an ASUS ProArt 246 monitor.

Re: Got my C100 Wow nice...

That's what i was thinking, looks like an "NLE not handling the interlacing correctly issue". Would love to hear workflow details or upload of raw clips from cam.

Oh, just to add - clip...

Re: Got my C100 Wow nice...

Just curious and thanks a bunch for posting this...

The video looks like it is squeezed to me - is that an upload error?

Re: PC Video Editing software recommendation

The Adobe Creative Suite is going to be a very solid choice. Premiere has gotten very good and the integration between After Effects, Photoshop & Audition is great.

It ticks all your boxes and it...

Re: News cameramen around the world will be cheering

"Getting involved with the guy meant he was unable to follow up with more shots for his news story - that's his job."

My sense is that "tattoo guy" was going to dog our camera guy on any follow up...

Re: Canon EOS C100

This thing is looking very sweet! Does anyone know if it has a waveform monitor?

The lack of 60p seems like a huge oversight, I almost wonder if it was a mistake in the spec listing. I'm sure...

Re: Good file web hosting site

Thanks a bunch folks. I will have to look into the "self hosting" thing. I've already got a web site through Go Daddy so I may be closer than I think.

I was hoping not to like it as much as I do.

It just feels so good in your hands... and it's beautifully designed. I't...

Re: EOS 300 price bummer
