I recently purchased the Canon 60D and have been very happy. The imagery I knew I would be pleased with, but the direct to camera audio has been a pleasant surprise.

I don't think P2 is going any where.
Barry is right Panasonic has put a huge amount of money into developing and marketing P2. It's technical short coming aren't effecting it's sales in the least....
