Great, thank you for the info! For my stills I have just deleted from the computer and not reformatted the cards very often, but for video I will definitely start this practice immediately.

No flos. It was a loft with big windows and lots of available sunlight. We did use a 1200w HMI Par with the available light. But the anomaly is not a flicker. It's an actual pulse in the footage....
