Re: Pluraleyes with Multiclip

This has more to do with playback. A multiclip forces your computer to display twice as much video information as a regular clip. If you do allow Final Cut to render a multiclip it will basically get...

Re: Can't Find Settings Answer for 60D

Note that this is the option for "Frame Size" not editing timebase or field dominance. "HDTV 1080i (16x9)" is a standard frame size. 1920 lines by 1080 columns, that's it.

Re: T2i (or T3i) shooting weddings

Re: T2i (or T3i) shooting weddings

AFAIK video on the T2i/T3i is identical to the 7D. The only difference is the lack of color temperature control of white balance. So use a custom white balance.

The major benefit is the 3X-10X...

Re: Maintaining Focus

The smaller the aperture, the deeper the focus; in this respect, there's no limit to how much you should stop down the lens. However, with certain lenses, stopping down too far can actually cause...

Re: Partial Transfer of Video Files from Flash Cards

Sounds like a corrupt card. Are you using a card reader? Try a different one, or try transferring direct from the camera. Are you able to open and play the truncated files that you end up with?

So you're saying that you were shooting video on the 5D2 with a shutter speed of 1/10 of a second? This shouldn't be possible. 1/30 is the slowest shutter speed possible in Live View. Are you sure it...

Digital video and photo don't handle dark areas of an image very well. Black and darker shades of gray will tend to be noisy and/or pixelated.

Beyond that, you should stick with the "good" ISO...

Similar to what Kris says, you need to select the appropriate DOF for a given shot. You can most definitely shoot an event at something like f/1.2, the majority of events at say a wedding are quite...

The 24-105 is an f/4.0 lens. The 5D2 performs quite well in low light, but not with such a slow lens. Unless I had a lot of light, I'd never shoot with anything slower than f/2.8, and with available...

I've noticed the same thing on 5D2 with the 24-105 F/4.0. I'm very interested to see if anyone can suggest a solution. It's not fun to adjust exposure whenever you zoom in or out.
