Hi Jay.

Cam A: Canon 6 D [24p].
Cam B: Canon 5D MK II [25p].

.MOV format.

External audio is WAV format 44,100 Hz i believe.

It seems half way through the day, with the shitty 6D...

Re: Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Re: Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Whats the worst that could happen if i just edit this entire thing together, 24p and 25p, then burn it as a 25p project? Besides from some ghosting, what else am i looking at here? Because I've...

Re: Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Alright, so after conforming the 24p footage to 25p via the above methods, and dropping the newly rendered 25p file into a new time-line, I'm running into the issue of out of sync audio from the...

Re: Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Hi Graham,

On shoot right now, thank you so much for laying this out for me. When I get in I'll have a better look. Re: External Audio, it's the audio from the speeches and ceremony, I'd assume...

Re: Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Hi Graham. We're talking 2+ hours of 24 and 2+ hours of 25. Half and half. All my a-cam footage.

Hi Nate. I don't have FCPX, will have to look into doing a 'retime' in Vegas. Is that a...

Dammit! 1st Cam = 24 frames, 2nd Cam = 25. HELP!

Hello guys,

I just got in from a wedding shoot and for some sick reason, my main cam had reverted to 23.976 frames. All my main cam footage is in this format, but my 2nd cam is rightly in 25...

I cheaped out on some heads - base plate too loose.

Hey guys,

So i cheaped out on a couple of manfrotto 701 knock-off heads for an upcoming shoot. Everything is solid except where the base plate slides in. Its wide and with a battery grip on my...

Re: 16 hours to render 30 minute film (Vegas 12).

Believe i have found the culprit.

''Secondary Color Corrector''.

It was on every one of my clips for some reason, i must have completely missed it. Big sigh.

Thank you everyone for your...

Re: 16 hours to render 30 minute film (Vegas 12).

I see. So what would you class as a short nested project? And in what cases would 32 bit make the difference?

I'm 100% certain this is how i have always rendered in VP10. But upon switching...

Re: 16 hours to render 30 minute film (Vegas 12).

If im not mistake it produces a better looking video / precision for color correction / grading? It's what i always set in VP10 with no issues?

Re: 16 hours to render 30 minute film (Vegas 12).

Just threw 40 mins of footage onto a raw timeline. 2 hours 45 mins to render. This is what i have come to expect of finalized films with FX/correction etc with VP10! Perhaps there is an issue with...

16 hours to render 30 minute film (Vegas 12).

Vegas 12 Pro. Rendering 30-40 min MP4 films With GPU accel turned off, this is what im facing. Ridiculous. How do they always manage to go backwards with Vegas? It crashes with GPU on and sucks with...

Re: Can anything be done with this ceremony audio? Stuttering noise.

Hi Christopher, thanks for the taking the time to work on that noise! I am quite happy with Noa's cut, and have been denoising it a little further, but thank you any way!

Re: Can anything be done with this ceremony audio? Stuttering noise.

Noa, great job, huge improvement! I can still hear it slightly underneath (there's so much of it i wonder if it can actually be completely removed) but I'm hoping i can get rid of that with some...

That's odd, i ran that preset amongst many others, with custom tweaks etc to no avail. You have managed to make it very quiet and practically inaudible! I would be very grateful if you could take a...

Re: Can anything be done with this ceremony audio? Stuttering noise.

WOW Noa! What did you use?! I've been playing with this for the last two hours and yielded results close but not nearly as good (usually much more distortion to the audio). I ask because this noise...
