What adapter?

Hi all,

I am at an awkward position at the moment because I have been planning to get a piece of kit and it looks like I am unable to now.

A little while ago I saw the GT35PRO ELITE on GT35pro...

Re: HMC150/ 151 audio recording hiss issue

Are you still having a problem with this?

I have an HMC151 and we've not had a problem with the sound so far. We're using a Rhode NTG-2 with Phantom Power turned on. It's worth trying the phantom...

Re: Is the HMC150 still a viable option at $3000?

It's the camera I choose because when we got one everyone was saying how good it was. I really like ours and we're getting great footage from it. The AVCHD work-flow on Premier is wonderful with the...

Hi there,

Blimey, it's been a long time since I've been on here but I'm starting to mount new productions so I thought this would be a great idea. I get those occasionally.

Anyway! I'm looking...

Getting started with lights, I could do with some help.

OK, so I'm somewhat new to this and I'm trying to read posts to get ideas on what I should be using but I am totally lost.

I am breaking it down by scene. The first thing I need to shoot is a home...

I agree with blacking out the windows, that could play merry hell with your colour balancing. I like the adjacent lights idea, it's different from what I've used before but sounds like it would work...

I thought I would post what I have chosen just in case anyone comes across this in the future.

I went and had a look at small suitcases and cooler bags and finally settled on a small, hard...

Well, I'm in the same position as you, having just bought the camera. Mine arrived last week, as did a £70, 32GB SDHC card (cheapest I found, let me know if they are cheaper anywhere) from play.com....

Just to add to this, I think it can also depend on what type of footage you are editing. I have a HMC151 now and previously used Premiere. Everything I read is telling me that Vegas will perform...

Thanks Bob,

That's definitely the right sort of thing. I think that's the right size for it too. Thank you very much. I hadn't thought about that. Now I just need to source one in the UK.

There's nothing on Craigslist, or Gumtree. Ebay has one case but it's way out of my budget, is located in the us, has a ridiculous shipping cost (£125) and would cost an extra 15% in import tax.

I...

HMC151E: What Case?

Thanks Lori.

The others were done on camera phones. We have blogs set up for the two monsters as well but we've not done a lot on them yet.

We are going to make more though :)
