recharging of internal NX5U battery
My use of the NX5U is sporadic…and to avoid losing my clock settings and other internal settings, I usually take the camera out every 3 months and connect it to the AC adaptor (not on the charge...

I think the factory default is to have "flicker reduce" set to ON for the NX5U. The instruction manual says this may be of benefit when shooting with fluorescent light sources. But of course they...

In the NX5U camera recording menu, you will find all the different flavors of HD and HDV...what you are looking for if 1080x1920 FX 24p....that is the highest quality of 24p. And the video gain if...

Mike, I believe that unless you are using FCP 7.0.3 that the software will not correctly transcode LCPM audio...though it will do AC-3 audio. In the NXCAM you have a choice of using both. So if...

update to picture profile...
The picture profile that I suggested and which you quoted in this thread (modifying the default picture profile 3 preset...with ITU-709 gamma) is still the best recipe that I like for overall...
