The D810 is the best dslr on the planet for video. Straight up kills the 5d mark 3 in every aspect including true 1080 60p. It has a true cinema flat profile which I measured to be in the 13 stops...

Re: D800 vs 5D3 low light high ISO
The sharpening on the 5dmarkIII is "perceived" sharpness. The D800 is "actual". What i mean is when you add sharpening in post you are adding small halos to the pixels to essentially make them...
