Thanks for the positive endorsement! Also anyone looking for the 17-50 tamron, I chose this lens over it because I think it's range is far more useful, even on a crop sensor camera

From what I've read about the tamron, it's supposed to be super sharp, and from the pictures I've taken, it looks to be sharp, so I don't think it's a lens issue

And about those metal 50mm 1.8's,...

The focus was on the plant's, and I did zoom in and got it as sharp as I could.

I know shooting in 1920x1080 24 or 30 would yield sharper footage, but I am just showing what my 720p footage looks...

still looks fuzzy and weird to me
