I just went ahead and purchased the Sony NX100.

The 1080p is superb.

Just I have one doubt.

I need the LOG mode or the flat picture profile.

I can see PP1 to PP6, but none of them...

I will take it to sony service center tomorrow and clean up the sensor.

but the weird thing is, its too flat and too noisy highlights video output :(

But Canon 5D is using MOTION JPEG format for its video, which is really compressed.

Isn't h264 compression much better ?

I find Sony NX100 1080p is superb.

BTW, how come a better sensor is generating such bad output ?

50UH is APC-C sensor size.
Whle NX100 is 1 inch sensor only.

The client really watch so low quality ?

DVDs are 4:3 and they look so bad, when you try to show a 16:9 1080p video on a DVD, which downgrades it to almost 360p or 480p at 4:3 :(
