QR plate for CB105

I have a CB-105 shoulder mount, and it's great, apart from the irritation involved in attaching/detaching the camera.

It occurs to me that I could fix a tripod QR plate to the 105, and slip the camera on and of more easily. Is that possible, and if so, can anyone recommend a reasonable quality plate (For a Canon XH A1 if it makes any difference)?

Thanks

Manfrotto has their 577 quickrelease mount&plate. This one is interchangeble with their 501/503 heads.
Yesterday i received some QR plates/mounts from India (ebay). They are almost the same, but the plates are not interchangeble with the Manfrotto heads. They told me the plates are the same dimensions, but they are slightly wider. Still waiting for a reply from them....

Thanks for the reply - the 577 sounds like just what I need. Got one on order now, and we'll see how it goes.

I got mine via Ebay, where they're listed when available.

The web page is Welcome

and the email address is rlgriest64@yahoo.com

The mail link from the site doesn't work (I think there's an error in the code)

Hi Nick,

Do you have any pictures of how you have this working. I have just ordered a CB105 and will eventually be looking for a similar solution.

Thanks
