Anybody using Steady Stick from Tiffen

Hi,
Is anybody using this system with Mini Dv camera.
Is it smooth to go from shoulder to wasit shoot as shown on their web site

SSCOMPACT2-Steady Stick

Thanks
Mike

We had a few really good discussions on the various camera supports, steady stick included. There was one other support similar to the steady stick that looked a tad more promising.

I opted for the Marzpak. I'll dig and see if I can find the link.

Hi Bryan,
I went through pages here but couldn't find anything.
This is for weddings and GS 100 Panasonic camera so I need something small.

I've built shoulder support myself but it's still "too big" for this kind of events.

DV Caddie

I found it . I had posted a blurb about it on DV.com. Look at the lighter version. It does look like it would help and be a tad more controleable than the steadyu stick. Construiction is supposed to be pretty good.

My money is still on the Marzpak. Did I mention the fanny pack holds 8 cold ones and the side loops would handle two of the 1.14 litre cans of any fine Canadian beer.

So no users on this for a while.

Any new updates?

I am thinking about getting one.

what exactly makes the marzpak better than a steadystick?
