Looking for *JUST* a shoulder support

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to make my longer shoots (especially interviews) more comfortable. Currently I just handheld my cam (Sony FX1, I press the back to right shoulder for added stability) This works, but it makes me stand up in an unnatural way AND it gets really tiresome when I'm shooting an interview for +10 min!

So one mondaymorning I had this totally awesome idea: "I should get some sort of shoulder support!" But here's the deal: I want to "keep it simple stupid". This means no extending grips on the front, but just an extension to the back which is placed over your shoulder with a big battery (Anton Bauer / V-Lock?) I'm perfectly happy holding my cam at the handgrip, but only need to distibute some weight to my shoulder and have some counterweight added on the back.

Anyway, I find all these shoulder supports that look like they have enough legs to run away from you! The VSB1 however DOES look like what I want, but seems to have some generic accesorie box mounted on the back and just doesn't really look comfortable...

The DV Rig Pro HD has the backside I'm looking for, but unfortunatly adds support handles and has a really thick center part (because of the front extension)

Ok, to cut it short: Take a look at the picture: www.multireel.nl/upload/shoulder_support.jpg
I basically want that setup, minus the parts marked red and with a much thinner middle part.

Is that possible?

(p.s my FX will probably be replaced by a EX1R)

Thnx!

look at Video Backgrounds, Studio 1 Productions Video Backgrounds, Royalty Free Music, XLR Adapters, Zoom Controllers, Stock Footage, Animations and More, they have a few diffwerent models-I have one that about 7 or 8 years old that worked pretty well with small form factor cameras.

Nice prices . . . .
Mine came for €25 as it is a DIY.
Because the eyepiece of a Sony FX1000 is not at the side of the cam, I had to find an alternative. That is why the QR plate has the ability to be turned slightly.
