VariZoom VZ-LSP Pro/Sumo II
 

I honestly can't remember how much I paid for this thing many years ago. As I am currently looking to get a new rig more geared toward HDSLRs, I have it on the auction block here:

Perhaps I haven't been able to locate the real bargains out there, but based on much pricier offerings from RedRock Micro and Zacuto, I am baffled by the lack of interest in this item. (This is my third listing, with not a single bid or even watcher in the first two.) I did a "How Much Is It Worth" check and found no info on eBay, which leads me to believe the ones listed there for $550 have been listed many more times than mine. I see B&H lists it at $472. So is it unrealistic to expect to get at least $200 for this (like new), or is Varizoom smoking crack on the MSRP? I currently have this unit kluged into a rig with parts from Sticky Pod and Hoodman that does suffice for now. You can see it here:

Well, the LSP Pro sold for $162. Underwhelming to say the least. Still looking for recommendations for a replacement rig (for my Rebel T2i). Anyone? Feel free to redirect me to another thread. Thanks!

i have the Shape Spider I and based on that rig, i would think the Sumo would be an even more solid rig.

got mine from B&H and have no regrets at all... solid construction, and rigid in all the right ways...

Thanks, Michael. I just needed a little tidbit of encouragement. Looks like some model from Shape will get my vote.
