Need help! EVF & left eyed shooter!

I've just about given up rigging my FS700 up with an EVF for shoulder shooting because I'm a left eyed shooter.

The aim is to make my FS700 feel as close to a proper ENG camera as possible, and I've gotten the Zacuto FS700 grip relocator for that.

I've no problems with just the camera alone, or on sticks... but how exactly does one rig up an EVF with a knuckle that isn't unbalanced?

Some of my old rig that was severely biased to the left side:

Do you have a medical reason for being a left eye shooter or is it just habit?

One option is to move the camera outboard on the rails to move the balance point closer to the center of the handles.

Another option is to create a "cheek" pad setup between the camera and your head so some of the imbalance would be taken up by the camera leaning against your head some.

Thirdly you can possibly add some ballast to the outboard side of the camera to offset the weight of the EVF. I'm never a fan of adding weight to things that you are holding but it may be the lesser of the evils.

When you look at a true ENG style EVF most of the mass of the EVF is near the center of mass of the camera and only the optical tube (which is relatively light) arms over so you can look inside. You are hanging an entire monitor off to the left side of the camera which is going to be a challenge to balance.
