Is anyone using this rig with a Z1 or similar?

Any experiences would be welcome.

I have ....

a marzpack which is the same thing. It works pretty well with my DVX fully loaded. The front end can be a bit on the heavy side so you have to get creative about how you balance the cam. I modified an inexpensive shoulder rig (added handles so it works like a steady cam) to use as the base plate for the cam and balanced it with brass weights at the bottom center of the base plate and on an off axis bar that counter weighs the 7" monitor I use. As long as you are doing hand held, it's no problem. It's not bad as a steady cam and does come in handy when in a crowd.
