Wedding trailer

Hi,

Just wanted to try something a bit more upbeat for a wedding trailer.

Any comments appreciated.

Given I watch most of these forum videos at work (which means I don't have sound on this computer) I liked how you put your cut together. Although given what they chose for a setting/car etc, I would have gone for a 30's video approach, old film etc. But that's just me.

I liked the video, the spins, some of the closeups are a little close for my taste, but hey, they hired you, not me.

Take care, just me 2 cents.

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your comments. I do hope you will be able to watch it with sound! as the footage without sound is only half the story!

Kind regards.

That's a novel approach. The music was intense. I liked the touches you put in, lightrays, speed control etc. Good stuff.

For me, it started nicely, but when the voices came on, it turned really creepy! It reminded me of the Omen. The intense music combined with the fast motion editing reminded me of the Ring. Towards the end, the spinning shots and shine effects in combination with the music you selected creeped me out.

For me the wedding wasn't a celebration. It sure didn't feel like it. And those smiling people still haunt me!

Hey,

Thx for your replies. Different opinions is great. They all count and are valid.

Warren. Sorry to scare you,ha, just don't go having any nightmares tonight will you!

I wanted it to be dramatic. So it worked from that perspective.

I wonder what others may think!!!!

John, I really like your style as far as shooting and editing. Personally I thought the music selection was a little over zealous for a wedding video but then again you were intentionally aiming for dramatic and I think you hit your mark, so right on man! Altogether it was well made and I hope the finished product turns out just as well as the preview!
