Ford Sync Commercial Entries done with A1

Hey all!
Myself and a friend just produced three short commercials (15 seconds long) for a Youtube Ford Sync Contest. For those who don't know what the Ford Sync Commercials are.. Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1WkTxNb7rY

Im posting vimeo's link to the HD version and Youtubes, since the contest is sponsored by Ford, MS, and Youtube. If you could comment or rate on youtube, that would be great!

Commercial 1: This one is called "Wind On" and has my daughter Kaitlyn and my brother in law.
Youtube Version: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Y5-TGc_pmRI
and in High Def: http://vimeo.com/1010817

Commercial 2: This one is called "Romantic On" and is starring my sister Kelsey and co-producer Brian Lukrich.
Youtube Version: http://youtube.com/watch?v=wq6nq0YH-q8
and in High Def: http://vimeo.com/1010494

Commercial 3: This one is called "Water On" and is starring Riley Belden. She originally was just supposed to come to a stop on a slip'n'slide, but she went above and beyond..
Youtube Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrIBMVOXZQ8
and in High Def: http://vimeo.com/1008400

Thanks All for your time.....!!!
Luke Ross

I would have to vote for Romance on because I have done something along those lines before. How did you pull that one off safely or did you guys just risk it?

It was tricky.. If you notice his thumb come up.. he flicks the cork up with his thumb, and after 20 takes, hits her in the eye.. Using premiere's time remapping and a sound effect, it finished it off nicely.. Thanks for the reply. :)

Geez, I can't believe I'm just learning of this contest and the expiration date is tomorrow. Perhaps we could have a section for contest postings. How about it?

Not that I really want the competition of this group of A1 users, but here are the places I look. :)

Thanks for sharing, Luke. I've got an HC1, and I'm a picture framer, so I'm probably not much competition. :)

Thanks Doug.. I'm always concerned that C.S.D. is going to come knocking at my doors after shooting a video like this..

Hey Luke,

My vote would be for "Romantic On" - I laughed out loud at the end. Great stuff!

"Water On" is cool as well. Nice opening shot too - very nice.

Cheers,

Matthew.

BTW, just found out the "Water On" one, is in the Top 20. Personally, I liked Romantic On the best, buy if anyone feels like voting, you can at http://www.youtube.com/sync :) (Note: You have to click next to flip through them until you hit mine. :) Its your choice to vote down the rest. haha

Thanks all for your opinions on my videos.. it is really appreciated.

Romantic On is HILARIOUS. The groan she makes at the end cracked me up! haha. Water On just looked plain painful..heh.

Ya, it looked painful, but at the end of that clip, she is laughing.. She is very heavy footed and clumsy, so she bounced right back. She did other takes where she fell before she even made it to the slip'n'slide. I think for any of us who are older than 18, anything that includes falling from an upright to laying down position seems painful. :)

Thanks,
Luke

all three

I like them all. As a father of three girls the water on was very funny but the romantic on cork in the eye was my favorite.

All made me lol.
