Me Likey!

Very strange, reminds me slightly of Kubrick. Nicely done. The audio really helps alienate the viewer and confuse them. If you were going for a strange/experiemental feel, you did well!

Love the compositions and the time lapse effects. I also can't get Kubrick out of my head either. The sound design was really effective too, and gave the images more impact than they would have if it was music played over the top. Very professional and well done, there is absolutely noting amateur about the production values. Was this done on any sort budget?

I'm very interested to know what you shot it on. It looks a little like 16mm, but I saw that you have an "after effects" tag, so maybe you used some sort of plug-in to make it look like that.

Any technical information you can provide would be excellent.

Hi, thanks for the comments. Mark, I used a DVX 100b and graded it in after effects using only the built in tools, no plug ins. I added a film grain overlay that I made myself to the footage to give it a grainy look, to give it some texture and hide any mini dv artifacts. The budget was for props, I borrowed the camera from my college, and my friend did the sound in his uni's recording studio. Hope that answered some of your questions, if you have any more please ask.
