My first cinematic style "wedding trailer"

If any of you are looking into wedding videography and/or cinematography, it is a great business to get into, especially now as the shortform cinematic style wedding video is growing fast in demand.

Interesting.

I wouldn't call this 'cinema style' - but more reality TV style. Interesting approach and music. I'd best describe this if the director of the bourne idenity were to make a wedding video; fast quick edits, lots of handheld.

Took me a while to understand composition but once masterd, you don't have to pan and zoom everything! Keep up the practice, and if you like moving around that much i'd seriously invest in a stedi-cam rig because some of those moving shots were rough.

I really don't think that kind of music fits wedding footage... although, it's probably perfect for the couple after they've clocked up five years of marriage... after all, most of them end up a horror :)

Before reading the replies I had the same opinion of your video. The music doesn't fit at all the footage you shot (or edited I should say). I've seen some wedding cinematic that use similar music and it really looks like a trailer to a movie. Your video seems to go through the time line of the video you shot for the day from start to finish. I think if you took clips from various segments of your entire shoot, did some slow motions, added some color correction and darkened the mood a bit, the music might fit a little more. This music would be good if you were to show a lot more facial expressions close up, locations that the plot may take place in, etc. The areas that you jump several clips quickly are too fast as well.

Good quality video tho, I am sure you have the footage to do something spectacular with. Keep it up.
