Seinfeld & Superman
For those of you who haven't seen the latest instalment of Seinfeld and Superman, you must! It's hilarious as always.
|
Whoa, you took me by surprise Alex, I thought they'd shot a new one without me! I assume you mean "Hindsight"...some think it's even funnier than the first one. Have you listened to the full version of "Oh Yes Wyoming", available on the site by clicking the playbill? Outrageous.
|
Is it me or does Superman's voice sound like "Puddy" from Seinfeld??? ...SuperPuddyMan!
|
Good ear, that'd be him!
|
Yeah, I think I was a bit late on this, I saw something else related to Superman and thought "isn't there a new one?"
I love, in one of the opening shots, the two suitcases atop the car. Superman's is of course drawn, and Seinfeld's is live action. Nice touch. |
I didn't catch that. Nice, Alex.

That was indeed a good catch, it's pretty subtle. I thought that was a fun detail also. Check out the 3rd image on the pictures that accompany my article for a glance at the suitcase gag as we shot it (note reference marks). Did you also notice that the same driveby is used twice in the piece (car drives past camera, road twists up towards horizon) under different lighting conditions? I shot a lot of drivebys, still can't figure out why they used so few of them and doubled up this one. Another one shows up in the TV trailer for this film, also viewable on the site.

Thanks for posting this Alex !! It's got to be one of the funniest clips I've ever seen.
