A 4min product promo (partial nudity)

I've been working in the industry safely tucked away in the Vegas & wedding forums, but this year marked my break out into the commercial segment, thanks to exploding demand and a bombing wedding market (happy coincidence?).

In any case, I would like to offer up a sample of one of our latest productions for any and all constructive comments.

Regarding the disclaimer, nothing in the production would rate the video unsuitable to a general audience, but the model's do have some exposed skin in several parts of the video (as is likely in a hospital gown related production).

I like the 'tone of voice' of the film. It is a serious subject, but brought with the touch of lightness (not making the issue too heavy) that I think it needs.

The lighting seem a little akward to me. I can't really explain why.
What I do like though is the desaturated look for the old fashioned gown part of the movie.

Graphics are also ok to my taste.

If one thing I think you could change is make it shorter. There are some parts of the story that double. Not that it is annoying, but I think there is room for a 10% reduction.

I agree with everything. We had no lighting, and I had to go by the client's script (which was actually 5 minutes. I had it about 20 seconds shorter (almost 30 actually). The doctor's part at the end was soo slow but they didn't want me speeding it up much.

I've had a lighting solution in place since this one. part of the problem with this shoot is that there just wasn't any room for lighting. in some places I was able to use a halogen lamp stand, but then that didn't quite mix well with the overriding flourescent nature. Not a fan of the GL2 image actually. Thanks again for check it out!

I thought it was well lit (if a tad cool - but that fit in my mind with the idea of a cold hospital gown), nicely edited, easy to follow and was a good selling tool. Bravo.
