Finished short doc on a 427 Cobra replica restoration

Aloha,

I just finished a short documentary on a 427 Cobra replica restoration. The story is about my mom's boyfriend and his lifelong love of cars and his meticulous re-building of a former 'Show Car' that was a beauty to look at, but lacking in a lot of areas.

Any feedback or comments are welcome. I already know (and will take forward to future projects) about little technical difficulties like the smudges on the lens in one scene, and the light reflecting in a picture n another. I guess I want to know if this is a 'watchable' 8 minute video? Does it hold your interest? The boyfriend wanted more detail (he is justifiably proud of his work) and I wanted less to keep things moving.

very nice i liked the editing and the pace.
sorry for the newbie question, but what program did you use to do the titles and animated background

Thank you for your comments, I edited the film in Vegas 8 Pro, including the titles etc. The video was shot with a Sony HC-7 and the music was scored with Cinescore. The mic was a Mic Madness and the difficulties with the audio levels prompted me to buy an AT-899 for my next project.

For those that have watched the video, today is the deadline for the Hawaii International Film Festival applications. Do you think I should enter it? Or would I get laughed out of the room? I own or have permissions for all of the media in the video except for the one black and white photo of Carroll Shelby. This was pilfered from the web, but I saw it reproduced on so many sites I have no idea how to seek permissions or from whom. (Obviously, I could just leave it out). Any thoughts?
