Re: Our new wedding trailer

Hi George

Another brilliant video I see. Apart from the obvious jealousy of you being in Crete I really like the inventive animation with the clothes on the bed and the dancing is great. You can't have done it all on a steadi. Did you use a crane at all?

Re: Our new wedding trailer

Sophie,

Nice to hear from you again.
First, I'm glad you like the trailer.
We did not use any crane, it's just plain steadicam Merlin shots with the 5dmk2 and an old tokina 17mm f3.5.
We also used a Glidetrack.

Thanks.

Hi George you have got some nice sweeping shots for just a steadi.
Have you checked out our wedding highlights what do you think (no steadi I,m afraid just one z7 and a 501 manfrotto)

Re: Our new wedding trailer

Sophie,
I just watched your wedding highlights video.
I like your framing and tripod movements, but I realy miss a few steadicam and dolly shots.
Also, have you tried to color grade (not just color correct) your footage?
It is a very good way to increase the production value of your product.
Some interesting tutorials can be found on youtube. Just search for color grading or collor correction techniques.

Keep up the good work.

Hi George thanks for checking it out. Yeah sorry no steadi/dolly just too low a budget. Just the 1 Z7 and a manfrotto 501.
